Directions

Stansted airport is easily accessed from junction eight of the M11 and then the A120. The M11 can be reached directly from the north east, or via the M25 from the south and west. Those travelling from the Midlands and north west will want to take the M1 or M6 onto the M25 before joining the M11 at junction 27. Getting to Stansted from the M11: ]Exit the M11 at junction 8a if you are travelling from the south, or junction 8 if you are travelling from the north, and follow the signs for Stansted airport. Take the turning off the A120 named Thremhall Avenue, signposted for Stansted airport. Follow the road until you reach the Bassingbourn roundabout. Take the third exit. At the next roundabout take the first exit.
