Situated next to Junction 8 of the M11, 30 miles north east of central London.

From London take the A11. Take the M11 to Junction 8a, Stansted airport is well sign-posted from there.

From Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire follow the A505 and then the A414. From East Anglia go via the A11, A12 and then the A120.

Access from the North Midlands is via the A1 and A14. Joining the M11 at Junction 14. Take the M11 to Junction 8, Stansted is sign-posted from here.
