Arrival Procedure
Robin Hood airport now operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR), please DO NOT insert a credit/debit card into the car park barrier as you will be charged again. Please enter your car registration at the time of booking to ensure that you have a hassle free parking experience. Upon arrival at the car park, drive up to the entry barrier. The ANPR system will read the vehicle registration plate and automatically issue you with a ticket. (Please wait about 20 seconds for this process.) Remove the ticket, and the barrier will rise allowing you to enter. Please retain the ticket and keep it safe as you will need this to exit. Should the system fail to recognise your vehicle or the barrier does not raise for you automatically when you arrive at the airport, please press for a ticket.
Departure Procedure
On your return to the airport, please collect your vehicle and drive to the exit barriers. If you had to press for a ticket on arrival, please press the help button on the exit barrier and provide the operator with your booking reference number and Surname. The operator will then raise the barrier manually for you to exit. If the barrier raised for you automatically on arrival, please insert the original entry ticket in the exit machine, where the barrier will rise allowing you to exit the car park. Any additional stay outside the pre-booked period will be charged at the standard tariff.
Security
This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. Park Mark awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.
Insurance
Cars are parked at their owners` own risk, subject to the terms and conditions of the car park.
Notes
You should have your booking confirmation with you when you arrive at the car park and when you leave, in case there is a problem with any of the machines. If you stay for more days than you booked, you will be charged at the car park`s current daily rate. If you stay for fewer days than you booked, you will not be given a refund. An administration fee of £5 will be deducted from any refunds of double payments made through failure to adhere to the arrival and departure procedures.
