Sherwood Forest Country Park

You will be enthralled with the historic significance of Sherwood Country Park as it is the place that was home to the legend that is Robin Hood. The park measures over 450 acres and is a National Nature Reserve.

Aeroventure Aircraft Museum

Discover the history of aviation in the Doncaster region and see many of the aircraft from history up close and personal on the site of the old RAF Doncaster. There is a staggering display of aircraft available to view both jet and prop driven and is sure to get an aviation enthusiast or even the casual observer excited.

See up close the awesome Vulcan nuclear bomber, or maybe the Lancaster bomber used in the second world war to great effect, however if your interest is in helicopters there is a feast for your eyes with may military helicopters available for viewing.

Also on display at the museum is the world war 2 exhibition with scenes recreated from homes and air raid posts during the conflict as well as a very interesting Falklands exhibition as well as the Royal Observer Corps exhibition.
