Unions Call On Italian Government To Speak Out Over Alitalia
Thursday 31st July 2008Pledges by the Italian government to change the fortunes of Alitalia have not come to fruition, which has now heaped doubt on the future of the struggling carrier.
Unions that had apparently grown tired of the countries Premier Silvio Berlusconi communicating with them over the plans for the airline have announced to the press that they are calling for news about what the plans are. The national secretary of the transport union Filt-Cgil Mauro Rossi believes that the airline can still be saved however but a plan needs to be put in place.
