Transport Secretary To Be Shown Plans For Rail Link

The Transport Secretary Ruth Kelly is to be shown plans for a high-speed rail link that will connect to the Channel Tunnel that will give Heathrow Airport a link to the national rail network.

The plans will be presented by Arup a civil engineering consultant that have given estimates for the project that total £4.5 billion and will possibly be completed 2019. A new station that is named the Heathrow Hub Station would be the first stop and would be located at the north of Heathrow Airport.
