No Name Change For Prestwick Airport

Despite recent rumour surrounding the possible name change of Prestwick Airport bosses at the airport have announced that its name is not to change.

Recent calls have been for the name to change to reflect the local playwright Robert Burns however the airport have rejected this idea. It is felt that the airport currently has a strong anough brand image and thus a decision has been made by the airport to leave the name completely un-altered.
