Man Held Over Gun Discovery At Manchester Airport

A man has been arrested at Manchester Airport after a gun was discovered in one of his suitcases.

The man has been named as Failsai Mostafa, aged 44 and was stopped and held at Manchester Airport as he attempted to board an Emirates jet that was to fly to Bangladesh. Mostafa has been charged in relation to firearms offences as was his travelling partner, a 37 year old woman who was arrested but later bailed.

Mostafa is to appear before Traffod Magistrates and will be held in custody until this time.
