Michelin Launch 2008 Campaign At Eurotunnel

Tuesday 15th July 2008

After a succesful campaign in 2007 tyre manafacturer Michelin have once again launched their “Fill up with Air” roadshow at the Eurotunnel in Folkestone. The aim of the campaign is to target motorists that may be running their tyres at dangerously low pressures.

The roadshow will provide passengers with a free tyre pressure check as well as advice from a representative of Michelin. Previous results from roadshows such as this run by Michelin have shown that a worrying 83% of cars checked had tyres that were under-inflated, with an extremely concerning 63% of those cars checked having dangerously low pressures in their tyres.

The aim of the roadshow is to provide education for drivers that may not be aware of how to check tyre pressures, or the importance of them.
