Direct Wales To Birmingham Rail Link Announced

Passengers wishing to use Birmingham Airport will be able to use a brand new train service in the latter half of 2008 when a direct link from mid Wales to Birmingham Airport will be operated.

The current route run by Arriva Trains Wales ends at New Street Station but will be extended to Birmingham Airport. According to Arriva Trains the operator will also be adding a service from Chester to Birmingham Airport from December 2008.
