City Star Airlines Confirms Route To Texas Will Go Ahead
Wednesday 12th December 2007American airline City Star who began the first service from Aberdeen Airport to Texas have confirmed that they will go ahead with the planned route to the American city of Houston, despite there being an accident at Aberdeen Airport in which an aircraft was damaged and another route was suspended.
The recent accident resulted in the cutting of 15 jobs at Aberdeen Airport by the airline and the suspension of a flight route to Alesund in Norway.
The announcement that the route is to go ahead will be good news for business links which for a long time have called for a link between Aberdeen and Houston.
