Anti-Gravity Suitcase Seems A Winner
Tuesday 8th July 2008How many times have you hauled a heavy and cumbersome suitcase around an airport leaving you with aching limbs? Well if you have the money then Live Luggage may be the answer.
Imagine a suitcase that weighs 30kg but to push and pull only feels like 3kg, too good to be true? Well no actually it is a reality. Live Luggage is the brain-child of businessman Clive Hemsley who came up with the idea after his elderly mother died in 2001 from a heart attack whilst hauling a heavy suitcase around Gatwick Airport.
The launch of the suitcase has come after years of research and development and is completely eligible to be used in all worldwide airports. However the only downside it seems is the price with the bag weighing in at a hefty £700. This is one case you do not want to see being thrown around by baggage handlers. However the case is made from durable plastic much like the material a car bumper is made from and seems like it could take a fair amount of abuse without breaking.
The power that allows the motors inside the case to operate giving the anti-gravity feel need to be charged and work much the same as a mobile telephone. When you are due to travel to the airport then simply plug the case into the mains socket via a lead and leave it to charge. In the morning you are ready to go with enough power for a mile and a half of operation.
Not only does the case seem durable, useful and fashionable but the developers are insisting that the cases are manafactured in Britain creating much-needed jobs, this is one reason for the higher price of the case. Despite the price this looks to be a succesful case for the traveller who hates hauling heavy luggage around an airport - in fact, come to think of it that is everyone is it not? Surely the case cannot fail!
