Cardiff Airport Debate Airport Name Change

It appears to be a hotly debated topic at Cardiff Airport, but which famous celebrity should the airport be named after? Current protagonists include Hollywood star Catherine Zeta-Jones or world famous singer Tom Jones or how about The Gavin and Stacey Airport that has also been cited as a possible name. With recent events around the airport surely an alien relevance would not go amiss either?

The marketing team at the airport is to decide on which name will be used however it remains to be seen if a current celebrity will be considered or a more historical or influential character. The airport will have a tough job to match a person of John Lennons standing at Liverpool Airport.

It is believed that Cardiff Airport may put the choices to a public vote to ensure they pick the correct name for the airport.
