LD Lines Announce New Ferry Service
Tuesday 8th July 2008The French cruise company LD Lines have announced that they are to begin a new ferry service from Dover to Boulogne that will start on the 1st of July 2009.
The new route should see 300,000 passengers, 130,000 cars and 120,000 lorries use the brand new service in its first year in a time span of about an hour for the crossing.
The ship used will be able to carry 1,850 passengers, 700 cars and 100 lorries. LD Lines are the current operators of crossing between Portsmouth and Le Havre, Newhaven and Le Havre and Newhaven and Dieppe with the brand new Dover to Bolougne route being a worthy addition to their portfolios.
