Gatwick Begin New Flight Route To Biarritz
Monday 7th July 2008Low-cost carrier easyjet have begun a new flight service to Biarritz in south-west France from Gatwick Airport.
The brand new service operates four times every week on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The new route issure to be popular amongst passengers that wish to visit areas such as the Basque Country as well as western regions of the Pyrenees. It is expected that around 10,000 passengers will use the brand new service in its first year.
Speaking about the new route David Osbourne of easyjet said;
"Biarritz is already a popular destination from other easyJet bases and now travellers from Gatwick have the opportunity to explore one of the most popular destinations on the west coast of France. Forward bookings for the route have been strong, which further proves the demand for affordable flights to the sun this summer."
