Ryanair Purchase More Aer LIngus Shares
Friday 4th July 2008Low cost carrier Ryanair has shown its interest once again in the acquisition of Aer Lingus by purchasing 3.5 million more shares in the airline. The new shares will mean that Ryanair holds a 29.82pc. share in the airline.
It is believed that the new shares were purchased on Wednesday night after they were offered by a top property mogul who shys away from public exposure. The stock is believed to have been sold at a loss of approximately £15.8 million. The sale was made via Goodbody Stockbrokers.
