Manchester Airport Passengers Warned Of Roadworks

Wednesday 2nd July 2008

Any passengers travelling to Manchester Airport are asked to be aware of roadworks that are taking place close to a motorway near the airport that is expected to cause delays.

The roadworks are concentrated around bridge strengthening work that will be taking place near the M60 and A5103 which will be near the Princess Parkway. This leads to the M56 motorway and airport. Currently lanes are being restricted whilst the work takes place which will be at night and in the evenings to minimise traffic disruption. The work will begin on the 7th of July and will continue for around nine months, and is expected to be completed around May 2009.
