Possible Holiday Price Rise In The Pipeline Say Advantage

Monday 23rd June 2008

It has been predicted by the group Advantage that mass market holiday could go up by 10% by next year as problems with the economy continue - and potentially will get worse.

Problems such as the price of oil and the pound being weak against the euro are all adding to the UK's woes and as a result the cost of holiday could go up by as much as £50. One thing remains clear - the rising economic problems could affect the leisure and tourism market more and more as the months go by as people increasingly 'pull their belts in' as prices soar and wages remain static.
