Ryanair Announce Three New Flight Routes

Ryanair have announced that they are to run three new flight routes operating from Shannon to Katowice, Lodz and Gdansk. The flights will begin in November 2008, and Ryanair.com predict that this in conjunction with their other Shannon routes will deliver 2 million passengers to the mid-west area, as well as creating around 2,000 jobs in the region.

In response to the announcement Bridget Dowling from Ryanair said, "these 3 new routes to Gdansk, Katowice and Lodz will provide passengers in the Mid-West with even greater choice. The new services to Poland which will operate on a twice weekly basis will deliver an additional 90,000 passengers p.a. creating almost 100 jobs in the region."
