World's Largest Cruise Ship To Set Sail In 2009
Thursday 19th June 2008The world's largest cruise ship, the Oasis Of The Seas is to set sail from the Caribbean in 2009 and promises to provide passengers with a truly unique experience.
Cabins will be large and spacious as well as activites such as rock climbing being available on the 43-foot rock face that has been constructed on the ships deck as well as a zip line that will be suspended nine decks above the ship's boardwalk. Other features will include the world's only amphitheatre onboard a cruise ship.
The vessel will be able to carry a staggering 5,400 passengers and will be equipped with sixteen decks that will incorporate seven themed areas featuring name such as Central Park, Boardwalk, and the Royal Promenade. The overall weight of the vessel is 220,000 tonnes and will be initially setting sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on December the 12th next year. You may book a place on the cruise from the 3rd of September this year.
