Fred Olsen Cruises To Expand 2009-10 Cruise Brochure

Wednesday 18th June 2008

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines have released their cruise programme for the 2009-10 cruise season and it promises to be a great selection to cruise from, despite the group confirming that they are finding the current economic problems challenging.

Part of the reason for the expansion of services is due to the purchase of a brand new ship by the cruise line who recently had to add fuel suppliments in the wake of soaring fuel prices.. The group specialise in cruises aimed at more mature passengers and offer fly/cruise packages that cater to their needs.

Speaking at the launch of the brand new 212 page brochure the sales and marketing director of Fred Olsen confirmed that the group was being challenged as a result of the current economic climate. However with the average age of passengers being 67 on Fred Olsen cruises and a considerable ammount of the UK's expendable income being amongst this age group the company feel that their cruise programme has considerable potential.

The brand new brochure contains a selection of 160 cruises that visit a total of 312 ports worldwide in 134 countries. If you wish to add a falight to your cruise package then they offer a selection of flights from 19 airport in the UK and Ireland. Both short and long cruises are offered.
