Silverjet May Have Life Left In It
Wednesday 18th June 2008The speculation as to whether Silverjet will fly again still refuses to die down as it has emerged through unconfirmed reports that a Dubai-based airline, Arabjet may attempt to rescue the airline.
The chief of Arabjet has shown an interest in the all-business carrier and it is believed that discussions have taken place between him and the administrators - Begbies Traynor although it is denied that an offer has been made about purchase of the airline.
Hopes were high recently that the airline may have been saved when the Kingfisher group looked set to take them over which we reported on. However after discussions with the administrators the deal fell through with what looked like a gloomy future for the airline which Compare Airport Parking covered,
Arabjet have announced that they are looking to launch services next year that will operate in the Middle East.
