Finnair Forced To Cut 500 Jobs
Tuesday 17th June 2008Finnair have announced figures for the month of May that make depressing reading for the airline.
As a result of the problems they are encountering Finnair have been left with little choice but to cut 500 jobs. The management of the airline have used words to describe the problems such as "disastrous" and "gruesome" which give an insight into the problems the airline are encountering.
Like many carriers Finnair have seen a huge rise in their fuel bills that are now projected to cost more than €180 million compared to this time in 2007.
