Trump Flies Into Aberdeen Amidst Local Residents Hair Digs
Monday 16th June 2008Donald Trump, the successful and renowned businessman flew into Aberdeen Airport last week to visit the Scottish Isle of Lewis ahead of plans to build a five star hotel with two golf courses as well as hundreds of houses in Aberdeenshire.
However his reception was far from welcoming as local residents were out on force displaying banners such as "we don't want you hair" and "don't comb over here" in reference to his "comb-over" hair style. The residents were cynical of the motives for the visit but they did not have much time to make their opinions known as the visit lasted only a couple of minutes.
A public enquiry was held into the proposed golf course and Trump is believed to be confident of victory - however local residents are sure to not make it easy for him.
