Thomsonfly and First Choice Airways Merge

Thomsonfly and First Choice Airways have merged to form a brand new group - Thomson Airways.

The flights under the new name will begin to operate from the 1st of May 2009 and follows the merger which took place in September 2007. When the merger is complete the third largest airline in the UK will be created that will consist of 65 aircraft - Thomson and First Choice claim.

The brand new airline will run under a single name - Thomson Airways however the two companys will run as seperate brands that will be visible in high street stores and in any branches abroad.
