The ships specifications are impressive at a staggering 210 metres long each and are said to be the largest ships that have every fitted into channel ports.

They are due to replace two of the companys current ships, the Pride Of Dover and the Pride Of Calais and will operate short sea routes between the two ports. They will double the current passenger capacity of the two current ships and will be able to take 160 lorries and 250 cars on each channel crossing. They will alos have capacity for 1,500 passengers.

Gains are made with the new ships, not only in passenger capacity but with fuel efficiency as well.
