Jumbo Jet For Sale On eBay

Ever fancied your own Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet? Well now your dream could come true! Part of a jumbo jet has been made available for sale on the online auction site eBay . The aircraft fuselage measuring an enormous 40ft was used as a mock-up when designing new aircraft interiors.

Now that the work is complete the fuselage needed a new home and the director of the company DesignQ Howard Guy explained that it was a friend of his that suggested placing the fuselage on ebay. Mr. Guy also stated that 'it seemed a shame to scrap it.'

When asked about who he expected to buy the fuselage Mr. Guy suggested that a film company may be interested or even a nightclub but this would not be known until the identity of the buyer was confirmed. The fuselage has a scrap value of £10,000 as it is mainly aluminium however Mr. Guy does not expect it to fetch that ammount, it remains to be seen what the postage cost will be!
