Monarch Passengers Rise Eight Per Cent In May
Friday 6th June 2008With a fuel crisis in full swing, and many airlines cutting back services, Monarch Airlines have announced a large increase in passenger numbers for the month of May.
The airline also launched a brand new flight service that will be operating five times a week from Manchester to Larnaca as well as flights from Birmingham, Gatwick and Manchester to Ibiza. There can be no doubting that these routes have been one of the main reasons for the increase in passenger numbers.
In May there were a total of 657,056 passengers that travelled with the airline on both scheduled and charter flights.
