The new routes will begin in 2009 and will begin with six brand new Embraer 195 aircraft that will be based at Milan Malpensa Airport . They will be operated by a subsiduary of Lufthansa named Air Dolomiti. The routes will give Italian passengers a diverse range of options and will surely be very popular. The need for a fully operating and efficient service has led Lufthansa to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the SEA who operate Milan Airports.
