Loganair Route From Dundee To Birmingham Reinstated
Tuesday 3rd June 2008A service that ran to Dundee from Birmingham Airport with Scottish carrier Loganair has been reinstated.
The first of the flights on the reinstated service took off on the 27th of May and in celebration all passengers onboard were treated to a Bucks Fizz breakfast. The reinstating of the route has been welcomed across the board with Scottish Transport Minister Stewart Stevenson and Loganair Chairman Scott Grier both excited about the route.
The route will be a franchise agreement with Flybe and will operate three return routes every day of the week between Dundee and Birmingham as well as a single flight on a Sunday. The new route appears to be very welcome and will no doubt improve the regions transportation links with what will be a very popular service.
