Virgin Atlantic Celebrate Gatwick To Orlando Flight Route
Tuesday 3rd June 2008On Thursday the 29th of May Virgin Atlantic celebrated the 20th anniversary of its flights from Gatwick Airport and Orlando.
The airline is clearly very proud of the landmark achievement and will be celebrating the occasion by pairing up with Disney World. The partnership for this celebration will mean that Mickey and Mini Mouse made an appearance for any children on the flight to Orlando. As well as the presence of Mickey and Mini Mouse one family were chosen by Disney to participate in the Disney Dreams Come True Parade and were presented with VIP access to the park.
Virgin Atlantic first began operating the Gatwick to Orlando route in May 1988 with the route still proving popular today. As of 2008 they have carried approximately 10 million passengers to Orlando.
