Fire Alarm Evacuates Aberdeen Airport

Monday 2nd June 2008

Late Thursday afternoon (29th May) saw Aberdeen Airport evacuated as a fire alarm was triggered.

The local Grampian Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene at 16:40BST and checked the area for a possible fire. After a detailed examination of the area it was confirmed that the alarm was a false one and the airport returned to normal services. It appears there was little or no delay as a result of the alarm.
