Air Crash Simulation To Take Place At Durham Tees Valley Airport

Durham Tees Valley is to simulate an air crash later this year to test the emergency responses and facilities at the airport.

The simulation exercise is necessary by order of the Civil Aviation Authority and is a requirement for all airports such as Durham Tees Valley. There is to be no disruption to regular flights or operations at the airport, however we will keep you informed if this changes.

The scheduled date for this exercise will be on Wednesday, November 21 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
