The move to terminal 1 will occur on the 4th of June which will then see a fast track security channel implemented at terminal 1. The move, the airport claims, will allow passengers to avoid security queues. Terminal 1 will also be fitted with Eastern Airways sales and customer desks. The airport believes that the move will benefit all of its passengers

Eastern Airways have recently launched a new continuous service that operates from Newcastle to Stavanger that replaces a route that stopped at Aberdeen.
