MP States That Durham Tees Valley to Heathrow Flight Route Should Be Protected

An existing route between Durham Tees Valley Airport and Heathrow Airport should be protected suggests Sedgefield MP Phil Wilson. The rise in costs flying into London have put the route at risk. As a result of the concerns the Competition Commission is to look at proposals made from the CAA about the costs associated with regional airlines facilitating Heathrow.
