Bmibaby Announce Growth
Tuesday 20th May 2008
The low cost airline bmibaby has announced that it is to double its Manchester Airport operations.
A brand new investment programme by the airline will see more than 100 jobs created as well as brand new destinations being flown. At a time when some airlines are ceasing flying due to the current economic problems and rising fuel costs it is a testement to bmi's management that they are increasing rather than cutting back their services.
The airline will be celebrating five years of operation this May and is looking to extend its portfolio of flights to include new routes to France, Spain and Italy amongst others. Bmi have affirmed there support for Manchester Airport and believe that the demand for flights will actually increase at the hub rather than downturn as some predict.
