Terminal Five Chief Quits Job

Monday 19th May 2008

The chief in charge of the opening of Heathrow Terminal Five has quit his job after the problems that plagued the opening of the building.

Mark Bullock is said to have "chosen to leave" after being in the position since 2004 however after the disaster of the opening and the luggage problems he feels that the time for a new challenge has come.

The announcement made in The Daily Mirror states that the new chief of the building will be Mike Brown who is currently the chief operating officer at London Underground.

Blame for the problems at Terminal Five have been apportioned to incomplete construction work by British Airways boss Willie Walsh. He has said that staff were unable to complete their training due to this building work which contributed to the problems at the terminal.
