Virgin Atlantic Announce Excellent Customer Feedback Results

Virgin Atlantic have announced excellent customer feedback regarding performance of the airline at Heathrow Terminal 3.

Virgin Atlantic's Terminal 3 was opened in December 2007 with many of the previous facilities updated and improved. The result of this work is feedback that indicates an 83% rate of passengers who thought Terminal 3 was excellent or good. This has been confirmed by an independent research report as well as Virgin Atlantic's research.

The results of the research will no doubt delight Virgin as not only do they show the group are performing excellently, but the results will give British Airways food for thought after their shambles at Terminal 5. Virgin Atlantic state that they have now achieved an 80% success rate of economy passengers using their online check-in service or kiosk which is eight months ahead of schedule. This all adds up to passengers only having to spend a few minutes at both security and check-in, something passengers at Terminal 5 could only dream of.

A spokesman for Virgin Atlantic has said that their results show their service is fast and efficient and compared it to another airline that has encountered problems at Heathrow. This is clearly a small dig at British Airways with a history of conflict between the two airlines being well publicised.

Showing particular strength was the Upper Class Wing of Virgin Atlantic with a quite exceptional 98% of the passengers using the service giving it a good or excellent rating. The passenger numbers for the service also rose by 10% in April of this year. The upper class service provides a private security corridor that takes passengers from their transport to the airport lounge in only eight minutes. The airport lounge was also named Best Airport Lounge by one of the UK's leading transport research consultants, Skytrack.
