Silverjet Announce Investment Deal
Tuesday 6th May 2008The airline Silverjet that deals with business travellers has completed a deal worth £12.7 million and has announced a proposed investment of £38 million.
Silverjet have secured a loan that will allow them to borrow £8.4 million as well as a proposed £4.3 million subscription agreement that has been secured with Viceroy Holdings. Viceroy are a development fund that is based in the United Arab Emirates and the U.S.
Due to the new susbscription agreement Silverjet will release 25,061,728 shares with 17p of each share going to Viceroy. This is projected to create £4.3 million in revenue. It is expected that Viceroy will invest £38 million in Silverjet's development to enhance the brand name and tackle new markets that the brand will try to enter into.
