Increase In Southampton Passenger Numbers

Recently released figures from Southampton Airport that have been issued from BAA show an increase in passengers using the airport.

During the month of March the airport welcomed 154,330 which was an increase of 5.4% over the same time last year. The airports most popular destination at this time were Guernsey, Glasgow, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, Edinburgh, Leeds and Newcastle. The Easter weekend also saw a record 3,000 people flying to the city of Edinburgh.
