According to The Financial Times and The Sunday Times the Competition Commission have confirmed to them that BAA have attempted to interfere with the appointment process regarding their monopoly of UK airports. Ryanair have said for several years that they feel BAA 'play' the system in order to increase charges and this report by the papers would tend to add weight to their argument.
