Ryanair Speaks Over Competition Commission Inquiry Interference By BAA
Wednesday 30th April 2008Budget airline Ryanair have spoken out over news that BAA have been attempting to influence the current investigation by the Competition Commission over BAA's proposed expansion of Stansted Airport.
According to The Financial Times and The Sunday Times the Competition Commission have confirmed to them that BAA have attempted to interfere with the appointment process regarding their monopoly of UK airports. Ryanair have said for several years that they feel BAA 'play' the system in order to increase charges and this report by the papers would tend to add weight to their argument.
