American Boss Slams Heathrow Airport
Tuesday 29th April 2008The head of customer services for American Airlines, Don Langford, has slammed Heathrow Airport branding it one of the worst airports they use, and feels that it is probably the worst airports they use in the whole of Europe.
Heathrow Airport have said that things are improving at the airport and the next five years will see a £4 billion investment programme at the airport. Mr Langford claims that Heathrow is not an impressive airport to visit and claims to have seen missing lightbulbs and duck tape on the floor which he feels is not befitting to an airport that processes 65 million passengers a year. He went on to say that the airport did not appear to be bursting at the seams as it looked to have already burst.
Heathrow Airport have responded to criticisms by saying that the money they are to invest will take time to implement but are confident of a positive outcome.
