Couples Fury At British Airways Baggage Loss
Monday 28th April 2008
A couple who had booked a dream cruise ended up wearing just jeans and a T-shirt for the entire time due to Heathrow Terminal 5 losing their baggage.
Gordon and Dorothy Bradley, from Hunger Hill, Bolton who became known amongst the passengers on the cruise as "Mr and Mrs no clothes" had to buy T-shirts at the ports as all they had were shoes with them. Fortunately they were able to borrow clothes for evening events but during the day they were forced to wear just their jeans and T-shirts.
The luggage eventually returned one week after the couple returned from holiday and 20 days late overall. Mr. Bradley, 68 said that they blame British Airways for the blunder and are very angry. A spokesperson for British Airways has said that any passengers with complaints should contact them about any essential expenses that they have incurred as a result of the baggage delays.
