Rapper Has UK Ban Overturned

Friday 25th April 2008

World famous rapper Snoop Dogg has had his UK ban lifted following revelations as to the actual truth behind and incident that took place in 2006 at Heathrow Airport.

The rapper was banned from entering the UK following a reported incident at Heathrow Airport in 2006, in which the rapper was reported to have been involved in a brawl with airport security over access to a BA lounge. It has turned out however that this was not the case.

The rapper was permitted access to the UK after a judge viewed security tape of the incident in which the rapper was seen to have co-operated with police and followed any instructions given to him. The video is said to have shown Snoop Dog playing with children and twice being pushed by a police officer and not retaliating. He was also witnessed being handcuffed on the ground and not resisting at all.

The Home Office that originally placed the ban on the rapper is to be given until next Wednesday to appeal against the lifting of the ban.
