Man Arrested By Police Probing Kent Air Crash
Thursday 24th April 2008Police investigating the Kent Air crash that killed a top motorsport boss and racing driver along with the two pilots and a young man have arrested a man for peverting the course of justice.
The man who is said to be 34 and from Sussex was released on bail after questioning whilst the police continue with their investigations. Police have stated that the arrest of the man was not connected to the cause of the crash but failed to elaborate on the reasons behind his arrest.
The crash cost the lives of five men Pilots Mike Roberts, 63, and Michael Chapman, 57, died along with with ex-touring car driver David Leslie, 54, team boss Richard Lloyd, 63, and Christopher Allarton, 25.
