Qantas Introduce Loyalty Scheme Changes
Thursday 24th April 2008Frequent Flyer schemes are not usually held in high regard as they often appear to favour airlines rather than passengers. However a new scheme opened by Australian Airline Qantas appears to offer some benefits that could be quite advantageous for its passengers.
Firstly the new scheme has introduced the 'Anyseat' option that allows you to book a frequent flyer seat even on a busy service. Booking a flight on a heavily booked flight would cost you more points but would still be possible. The ammount of points that are available is explained on the Qantas website.
This is not the only new feature as you will now be able to redeem flights using points and cash making the entire process much more flexible. You are also permitted to use your points for payment of taxes and charges relating to your flight as well, something that was not possible previously.
