Comedy Song About Terminal Five Is A Hit

Wednesday 23rd April 2008

Two New Zealand men, Tim Soong, 29 and Andy Baynes, 31 living in London have exacted their revenge on BA and Terminal 5 by recording a song about their troubles which has become a sensation on YouTube.

The song is a re-mix of Flight of the Conchords and includes lines such as, "The news ain’t good. I’m stuck in a queue. After 15 hours, it still hasn’t moved. They lost all my bags. They lost my wife too. I asked an official what’s going on but she didn’t seem to know exactly what’s wrong - something about robots and a luggage machine."

Since being uploaded onto the video sharing website the song has seen over 100,000 hits and with word spreading there are sure to be even more views soon. The men say that they recorded their song to vent frustration at BA for losing their bags when travelling to Soong's wedding. According to The Telegraph Soong's bride was without her dress for the big day as it was packed in a bag lost at the Terminal.

After releasing the song the men have seen a lot of media interest and also been on television shows in Britain. It is rumoured that record producers may even be interested in releasing the song.
