Ryanair To Launch New Flight From Prestwick Airport
Thursday 10th April 2008The low-cost carrier Ryanair is to create a new flight route from Glasgow Prestwick Airport to Barcelona Reus and Salou.
This route is added to an already extensive portfolio of flights operating from the Scottish hub some of which are to Derry, Milan, Stockholm and Cork amongst others from Glasgow Prestwick Airport bringing the grand total of destination to 26.
The new destination is sure to be popular amongst holidaymakers as the area of Barcelona Reus is rich in culture and history. Ryanair are hoping to extend flights from other airports over the coming months with flight routes already planned from Birmingham Airport to areas such as Marseille, Shannon and Pisa.
