Oasis Airline Goes Into Liquidation
Wednesday 9th April 2008The Hong Kong airline Oasis has gone into liquidation leaving hundreds of people stranded and looking for an alternative means to get home.
The airline began trading in late 2006 with amazingly low prices such as a single fare from Hong Kong to Gatwick for £65. Flights to Vancouver from Hong Kong followed soon after alos offering very cheap prices. The flights between London and Hong Kong were run daily and the Vancouver flights six times per week.
If you have been stranded or know anyone that has been then Cathay Pacific will be running a service for stranded Oasis passengers for a special price one-way. If you need information about Oasis or have been stranded then the hotline number is 00852 3628 0628 or 0844 482 2323 if you require additional information.
Rumours had been circulating that the airline had been in debt to the tune of 1 billion Hong Kong dollars ($128 million) as a variety of factors had taken their toll on the airline such as rising fuel costs.
