Easyjet Flights Arrive At Manchester

Monday saw the first flights to Manchester Airport from the north of England from budget airline Easyjet.

The routes that will now be available will take passengers to destinations such as Tenerife, Paphos, Malaga, Malta and Heraklion. The managing director of Manchester Airport Andrew Cornish said "We're delighted to be welcoming easyJet to Manchester. It is a vibrant and ambitious airline that will offer Manchester passengers a popular range of routes at excellent prices."

Easyjet UK general manager David Osbourne added to Mr. Cornish's comments by saying "easyJet recognises the strong demand for low-cost convenient services from the north-west and we are delighted to be the north-west's largest airline."
